The Kunz & Germick Team:

 

 

Since 1989, David R. Kunz has represented employers, insurance carriers and administrators in litigation. He is licensed to practice in the State Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in the Federal Courts of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Federal Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

 

David has presented many seminars to employers, insurance carriers and administrators regarding workers’ compensation and employment discrimination. In 1989 he earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Tulane University School of Law, where he

served on the Editorial Board of The Tulane Maritime Law Journal. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Foreign Languages from Skidmore College in 1986, where he was awarded Honor Society memberships in both undergraduate majors. His publications include two articles in the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and an article in The Commercial Realty Review. David focuses his practice on defending employers and their carriers against Pennsylvania and New Jersey workers' compensation and employment law claims.

 

 

Edward J. Germick graduated from Marywood University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences/Secondary Education. He earned his Juris Doctor degree at the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2000, where he was a member of the Jessup International Law Competition team and participated in the study abroad Capitals of Europe Comparative International Law Program. From 1988 through 2000, Ed served in the 1/109th Field Artillery of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as a nuclear, biological and chemical warfare specialist, in combat and logistical communications, and as a member of the special weapons team.

 

 

Ed is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to his duties defending employers and their carriers against Pennsylvania and New Jersey workers' compensation and employment law claims, Ed also presents seminars to employers, insurance carriers and administrators regarding workers' compensation and employment law.

 

 

 

Travis K. Jablonski graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with concentrations in ethics and the law. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University School of Law in 2009. During his time in law school, he interned in a special branch of the Pittsburgh Public Defenders assigned to represent that city’s most difficult criminal cases ranging from death penalty to Megan’s Law, firearms, drugs, and juvenile justice. Travis has clerked for criminal court judge Donald E. Machen.

 

 

Travis is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and focuses his efforts defending employers and their carriers against Pennsylvania and New Jersey workers' compensation and employment law claims.

 

 

Michael F. Campanella obtained his J.D. degree in 1985 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He earned a B.A. degree cum laude in English and American Literature from Harvard University, in 1982. He also served as a juridical clerk for the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Michael has extensive experience in various aspects of workers' compensation practice, personal injury litigation, insurance defense litigation, commercial litigation, and appellate practice.

 

Michael is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Michael is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association.

 

 

 

Paralegal and Marketing Coordinator

 

Janet Molinari graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2005 with a BA in Spanish and minors in both Latin American Studies and International Studies.  Her prior managerial experience includes ARAMARK and a start-up company in Philadelphia dedicated to professional development training.  Janet has experience assisting New Orleans evacuees, working as the Unit Accounting Supervisor at the School District of Philadelphia (through Aramark), managing company financials, and performing various office management, marketing and training functions.  Her prior experience makes her an invaluable part of our team.

Meredith Braverman graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2005 with a BA in English and a Concentration in Writing. Her prior experience includes positions in customer service, office management, as well as a paralegal position at another Philadelphia law firm. Her attention to detail, communication skills, and prior legal experience make her an invaluable asset to our team.
