SERVICE, ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION, AND TEAM
STRUCTURE:
A. Service – Strategy and Plan of Action
Our focus is on service. A well-litigated case can be worthless if the
process and result do not address a client’s particular goals and
needs. Accordingly, we develop as much insight as possible into the
goals and needs of each employer, insurance carrier and administrator
we represent, so that we can identify objectives and develop Strategies
and Plans of Action that will achieve those objectives. Ongoing
communication with the employer/carrier is a necessary part of the
joint ongoing critical review of the chosen Strategies, to ensure that
the Strategies and Plans of Action continue to address the client’s
objectives on litigated and non-litigated files.
B. Analysis and Communication
We keep our clients fully informed on all significant events or
developments, together with the ongoing legal analysis that enables the
client to continue to make informed decisions. On each referred matter,
we provide a File Review, Exposure Analysis, and Recommended Plan Of
Action within 30 days of receipt of file materials. We provide a Status
Report to the client following each significant event or development.
The File Review and Status Reports are in a captioned paragraph format
for easy review and later reference. Each Report is intended to give
the claim professional a complete picture of the current Plan Of Action
and the status of same, so that they do not have to waste valuable time
reviewing multiple prior Reports to gain that information.
Each Report begins with a thumbnail summary of all of the
Petitions in litigation, and the defenses being utilized. The Report
captions include:
· Significant Event: Summary and analysis of the
recent significant event or development;
· Plan of Action: Detailed bullet points
recommending specific steps for the client and the Firm to take to
achieve our identified objective, in light of the recent significant
event or new development;
· Anticipated Course of Events:
Listing of the major planned and anticipated events up to the
completion of the Plan Of Action, which is often, but not necessarily
the anticipated date of the Judge’s Decision/Order;
C. Team Structure
We work as a team in an effort to give consistent service. A detailed
Litigation Status Sheet is kept on each claim in the firm’s computer
system, and our computer Litigation Calendar system dockets all
significant events on every claim. Both are accessible to all firm
attorneys and staff, and enable immediate responses to client’s
questions on files we are handling. Our attorneys and staff are quick
to respond to any contact from clients.
